Instructions
Preheat to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9x13 pan.
Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Mix in eggs, vanilla, and sour cream.
Whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Fold into wet mixture.
Toss apples with sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice.
Mix flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, and cut in cold butter until crumbly.
Spread half batter in pan, add apples, spread remaining batter, then sprinkle crumb topping.
Bake 45–55 minutes until toothpick comes out clean.
Let cool 20 minutes before slicing.
