Ingredients

For the Apple Filling

  • 4 medium Granny Smith apples peeled & diced small
  • 0.33 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.25 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 2 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For Assembly

  • 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough 8 oz each
  • 4 tablespoon butter melted
  • 0.25 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  • Heat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Combine apples, sugars, cinnamon, nutmeg, cornstarch, lemon juice, and vanilla. Rest 10 min.
  • Unroll crescent dough, cut triangles in half.
  • Place 1 tablespoon apple filling on each piece, fold, and seal edges.
  • Roll gently into round bites.
  • Brush with melted butter, roll in cinnamon sugar mixture.
  • Arrange on sheet, bake 12–15 min until golden.
