  • ¼ cup Cocoa powder Unsweetened
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Baking powder

Cookie Layer

  • ½ cup Unsalted butter Softened
  • ½ cup Brown sugar Packed
  • ¼ cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 Large egg Room temp
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour For brookies
  • ½ teaspoon Baking soda Or powder
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ¾ cup Semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and line pan
  • Mix wet brownie ingredients
  • Fold in dry brownie ingredients
  • Cream cookie butter and sugars
  • Add egg and vanilla
  • Fold in dry cookie ingredients
  • Stir in chocolate chips
  • Spread brownie batter in pan
  • Spoon and spread cookie dough
  • Bake 25–28 minutes until set
  • Cool at least 15 minutes before slicing
