Instructions

  • Beat butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy.
  • Add eggs and vanilla, mixing until combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
  • Slowly add dry ingredients to wet until just combined.
  • Stir brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter into a paste.
  • Flatten dough, add filling, cover with another disc, seal edges.
  • Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10–12 minutes.
  • Let cool, then drizzle with optional frosting.
