Instructions
Set oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease mini muffin tin.
Mix melted butter and sugar until combined.
Beat in eggs one at a time, then vanilla.
Sift cocoa, flour, salt, and baking powder in a separate bowl.
Gently fold dry mix into wet batter.
Stir in chocolate chips or nuts if using.
Divide batter evenly into muffin cups, about ⅔ full.
Bake 12–15 minutes until tops are set and toothpick comes out with crumbs.
Let rest 5 minutes in pan, then transfer to wire rack.
