Ingredients

For the Cookie Base

  • 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup salted butter softened
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ¾ cup brown sugar packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Mix-ins

  • 1 ½ cups dark chocolate chunks
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries or frozen, thawed & drained
  • 2 tablespoon flour for coating raspberries

Optional Enhancements

  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • ½ teaspoon almond extract
  • Sea salt flakes for topping

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • Whisk flour, baking soda, and salt in a mixing bowl.
  • Cream butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy using a stand mixer or hand mixer.
  • Beat in eggs and vanilla until combined.
  • Add dry ingredients to wet and mix until just combined.
  • Fold in chocolate chunks.
  • Coat raspberries in 2 tablespoon flour, then gently fold into dough.
  • Let dough rest for 10 minutes.
  • Scoop dough onto baking sheets with a medium cookie scoop, spacing 2 inches apart.
  • Bake 9–11 minutes until edges are golden and centers are set but soft.
  • Cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to wire rack.
  • Sprinkle with sea salt flakes if desired before serving.
