Ingredients

Vegetable oil for frying
the Chocolate Frosting:

powdered sugar

unsweetened cocoa powder

whole milk

Instructions
Make the Dough:
Mix flour, sugar, yeast, and salt
Combine warm milk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla
Mix wet into dry ingredients until dough forms
Knead 8-10 minutes until smooth
Let rise 1 hour or until doubled
Shape:
Roll dough to ½-inch thickness
Cut with donut cutter
Let rise 30 minutes
Fry:
Heat oil to 350°F
Fry 1-2 minutes per side
Drain on paper towels
Cool completely
Make Frosting:
Sift powdered sugar and cocoa
Whisk in milk, butter, vanilla, and salt
Adjust consistency if needed
Finish:
Dip cooled donuts in frosting
Let set 15-20 minutes
