Ingredients

For the Cheesecake Filling

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened, room temperature
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg yolk

For the Churro Coating

  • cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoon butter melted, for coating

For the Base

  • 8 oz crescent roll dough refrigerated tube
  • 2 tablespoon butter melted, for brushing before baking

Instructions

  • 375°F (190°C), line baking sheet.
  • Beat cream cheese, sugar, egg yolk, vanilla, salt until smooth.
  • Cut triangles in half, stretch gently.
  • Place 1 teaspoon filling in center of each piece.
  • Fold dough, pinch edges, roll into oval bites.
  • Brush tops with butter, bake 12–15 min until golden.
  • Brush warm bites with butter, roll in cinnamon-sugar.
