Ingredients

For the Cookie Dough

  • cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • cups granulated sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Cinnamon Filling

  • ½ cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • 2 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

For the Cream Cheese Glaze

  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Cream butter and sugars, add eggs and vanilla, then mix in dry ingredients. Chill dough 30 min.
  • Stir together butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt until smooth.
  • Roll dough into rectangle, spread filling, roll into log, chill 2 hours.
  • Slice log into rounds, bake at 375°F for 9–11 min, cool on rack.
  • Whisk glaze ingredients, drizzle over cooled cookies.
