Ingredients

the Crust:

  • ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • cup granulated sugar
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg

the Filling:

  • 2 cups eggnog Use full-fat for best texture
  • 4 large egg yolks
  • ¼ cup cornstarch
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt

the Topping:

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Fresh nutmeg for garnish

Instructions

  • Mix graham crumbs, sugar, nutmeg, and melted butter. Press into 9-inch pie dish. Bake 350°F for 10-12 minutes.
  • Whisk eggnog, yolks, cornstarch, and sugar in saucepan. Cook over medium heat until thickened. Add vanilla, spices.
  • Pour into cooled crust. Chill 4+ hours.
  • Before serving: Whip cream with sugar and vanilla. Top pie and garnish with nutmeg.
