Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

Optional Additions

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil for brushing crust
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line baking sheet with parchment or foil.
  • Combine softened butter, garlic, Parmesan, parsley, and all seasonings in a bowl.
  • Slice bread loaf lengthwise and place cut-side up on baking sheet.
  • Generously spread garlic butter mixture over the bread surface with offset spatula.
  • Top with mozzarella if using and brush crust edges with olive oil.
  • Bake 12–15 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  • Optional: Broil 1–2 minutes for extra crispiness.
