Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line baking sheet with parchment or foil.
Combine softened butter, garlic, Parmesan, parsley, and all seasonings in a bowl.
Slice bread loaf lengthwise and place cut-side up on baking sheet.
Generously spread garlic butter mixture over the bread surface with offset spatula.
Top with mozzarella if using and brush crust edges with olive oil.
Bake 12–15 minutes until golden and bubbly.
Optional: Broil 1–2 minutes for extra crispiness.
Cool for 2 minutes, slice, and serve hot. Garnish with fresh basil if desired.
