Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 red bell pepper sliced
  • 1 medium onion sliced
  • 2 tablespoon vegetable oil divided
  • 2 green onions chopped

Garlic Sauce

  • 3 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 2 tablespoon water

Optional Garnishes

  • Sesame seeds
  • Fresh cilantro
  • Lime wedges

Instructions

  • Pat shrimp dry and season with salt and pepper. Mix all sauce ingredients in a small bowl until smooth. Chop vegetables.
  • Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a wok over medium-high heat. Cook shrimp for 2 minutes per side until pink. Remove from wok.
  • Add remaining oil to the wok. Stir-fry onion for 2 minutes, then add broccoli and bell pepper. Cook for 3–4 minutes. Stir in garlic for 30 seconds.
  • Return shrimp to the wok, pour in sauce, and toss everything together. Cook 1–2 minutes until sauce thickens. Garnish and serve.
