  • 28 oz Crushed tomatoes
  • 30 oz Beans Black, kidney, or pinto, drained and rinsed
  • 2 cups Broth Vegetable or chicken
  • 4 oz Diced green chiles Optional for heat
  • 2 tablespoon Chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon Ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • 0.5 teaspoon Cinnamon Adds warmth
  • 0.5 teaspoon Cayenne pepper Adjust for heat
  • 2 teaspoon Salt Or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Maple syrup Or brown sugar to balance acidity
  • Toppings Cheese, cilantro, avocado, pepitas, sour cream

Instructions
