Equipment

  • 1 Glass pitcher For mixing and serving
  • 1 Fine-mesh strainer To remove pulp or tea bits
  • 1 Kitchen thermometer For perfect tea brewing temperature
  • 1 Citrus juicer To extract fresh lemon juice
  • 1 Muddler Optional, for muddling mint if desired
  • 1 Tall Glasses For serving over ice

Ingredients

  • 4 bags Green tea Or 4 teaspoon loose leaf
  • 4 cups Filtered water Heat to 175°F
  • ¼ cup Honey or sugar Adjust to taste
  • ½ cup Peach syrup Homemade or store-bought
  • 2 tablespoon Peach purée Fresh or thawed from frozen
  • ½ cup Lemon juice Freshly squeezed
  • 1 Fresh peach Sliced, for garnish
  • 1 Lemon Sliced, for garnish
  • 2 cups Ice cubes For serving
  • 1 bunch Fresh mint Optional garnish
  • cup Cold water For dilution, if preferred
  • 1 pinch Sea salt Enhances flavor when added to warm tea

Instructions

  • Brew green tea in hot water (175°F) for 3 minutes.
  • Add honey or sugar and sea salt while tea is warm. Stir to dissolve.
  • Let the tea cool to room temperature.
  • In a separate bowl, mix peach syrup and peach purée until smooth.
  • Juice lemons to get fresh lemon juice.
  • In a pitcher, combine cooled tea, peach mixture, and lemon juice. Add cold water to dilute if desired.
  • Taste and adjust sweetness as needed.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  • Serve over ice in tall glasses.
  • Garnish with peach slices, lemon slices, and mint. Enjoy!
