Instructions
Mix dry rub ingredients in a bowl.
Pat chicken dry and coat with dry rub.
Set Instant Pot to 'Sauté', add oil.
Brown chicken in batches, 2-3 minutes per side.
Remove chicken, sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
Add broth, deglaze pot.
Place trivet in pot, arrange chicken on top.
Pour ½ cup BBQ sauce over chicken.
Pressure cook:
Breasts: 8-10 minutes
Thighs: 10-12 minutes
Natural release 5 minutes, then quick release.
Remove chicken, brush with remaining sauce.
Optional: Broil 2-3 minutes for caramelization.
