Ingredients

  • 24 oz Marinara sauce Use your favorite brand
  • 25 oz Frozen ravioli Cheese-filled is classic, no need to thaw
  • 2 cups Mozzarella cheese Freshly shredded melts best
  • 1 cup Ricotta cheese Or cottage cheese if preferred
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese Grated
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper To taste
  • Fresh basil Optional, for garnish
  • 1 cup Spinach Optional, chopped
  • 0.5 cup Bell peppers Optional, diced

Instructions

  • Brown ground beef in skillet until no pink remains.
  • Add garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and marinara sauce; simmer 2–3 minutes.
  • Spread thin layer of sauce in baking dish, layer ravioli, ricotta, mozzarella, and sauce; repeat.
  • Top with mozzarella and Parmesan, cover with foil, and bake at 375°F for 30 minutes.
  • Remove foil, bake uncovered for 15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  • Let rest 10 minutes before serving; garnish with basil.
