Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
Melt butter and chopped chocolate in a double boiler or microwave. Stir until glossy, let cool 5 minutes.
Whisk melted chocolate mixture with both sugars. Beat in eggs one at a time, then vanilla.
Whisk flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt. Gently fold into chocolate mixture until just combined.
Scoop dough (2 tablespoon portions) onto baking sheets. Sprinkle tops with flaky sea salt.
Bake 10–12 minutes until edges are set but centers look slightly underdone.
Cool on the baking sheet for 10 minutes before transferring.
