Ingredients

For the Crostini Base

  • 1 French baguette sliced into ½-inch pieces
  • 3 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 2 Garlic cloves minced
  • Salt & pepper to taste

For the Shrimp Topping

  • 1 lb Large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoon Butter
  • 4 Garlic cloves minced
  • 2 tablespoon Lemon juice fresh
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon zest
  • 0.25 teaspoon Red pepper flakes
  • Salt & pepper to taste

For the Cream Cheese Spread

  • 8 oz Cream cheese softened
  • 2 tablespoon Chives chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Dill chopped
  • 1 Garlic clove minced
  • 2 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • Salt & white pepper to taste

For Garnish

  • Chives freshly chopped
  • Dill sprigs optional
  • Lemon wedges optional
  • Capers optional

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Slice baguette into ½-inch slices.
  • Brush slices with olive oil and minced garlic.
  • Bake crostini for 7–10 minutes until golden.
  • Mix softened cream cheese with minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and white pepper.
  • Fold in chopped chives and dill.
  • Chill the spread for 15 minutes.
  • Season shrimp with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  • Cook shrimp in butter and garlic over medium heat until opaque.
  • Add lemon juice and zest; stir to coat.
  • Spread cream cheese mixture on crostini, top with shrimp.
  • Garnish with herbs, lemon, and capers if desired.
