Ingredients

For the Steak:

  • 2 ribeye steaks 1-inch thick, about 12 oz each
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic crushed
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • sprigs Fresh rosemary

For the Creamy Pasta:

  • 1 lb Fettuccine Or your preferred pasta
  • 3 tablespoons Olive oil
  • medium onion Finely diced
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • ½ cups heavy cream
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese freshly grated
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes Optional
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley chopped
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 cup Cherry tomatoes halves
  • 2 cups Baby spinach

Instructions

Prepare the Steak:

  • Remove steaks from refrigerator 30 minutes before cooking
  • Pat dry and season generously with salt and pepper
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over high heat
  • Cook steaks 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare
  • Add butter and crushed garlic, baste for 1 minute
  • Rest for 10 minutes before slicing

Make the Pasta:

  • Cook pasta in salted water until al dente
  • Reserve 1 cup pasta water before draining
  • In the same pan used for steak, melt butter
  • Sauté minced garlic until fragrant
  • Add heavy cream, simmer for 3-4 minutes
  • Stir in Parmesan until melted
  • Add pasta, toss to coat
  • Add pasta water as needed for desired consistency
  • Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes

Serve:

  • Twirl pasta onto plates
  • Top with sliced steak
  • Garnish with parsley and extra red pepper flakes
  • Serve immediately
