Ingredients

Taco Filling

  • 1 lb ground beef 80/20 blend recommended
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 0.5 cup water
  • 1 cup shredded Mexican cheese blend
  • 0.5 cup ranch dressing room temperature
  • 0.25 cup diced green onions
  • 1 can (4 oz) diced green chiles drained

Base

  • 2 tubes (8 oz each) crescent roll dough
  • 2 tablespoon melted butter

Garnish (optional)

  • 0.5 cup sour cream
  • 0.25 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1 medium tomato diced
  • 0.5 cup shredded lettuce
  • Sliced jalapeños

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C)
  • Brown ground beef in skillet, drain fat
  • Add taco seasoning and water, simmer 3–4 min
  • Let beef cool 5 min, stir in cheese, ranch, onions, chiles
  • Cut crescent triangles in half, press into muffin tin
  • Add 1 tablespoon taco mix per cup, press gently
  • Bake 12–15 min until golden
  • Cool 5 min, top with sour cream, lettuce, tomato, jalapeños
