  • 1 Wooden Spoon Or silicone spatula
  • 1 Cutting board
  • 1 Sharp knife For mincing garlic
  • 1 set Measuring cups/spoons

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs Large shrimp Peeled and deveined
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil For searing
  • 4 tablespoon Butter
  • 6 Garlic cloves Minced
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 0.5 cup Chicken broth
  • 0.33 cup Dry white wine Optional
  • 0.33 cup Sun-dried tomatoes Chopped, in oil
  • 4 cups Fresh baby spinach
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese Freshly grated
  • 2 tablespoon Fresh basil Chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper To taste
  • Red pepper flakes Optional, to taste

Instructions

  • Pat shrimp dry and season.
  • Sear shrimp in olive oil.
  • Remove shrimp and set aside.
  • Melt butter in same skillet.
  • Sauté garlic briefly.
  • Deglaze with wine.
  • Add broth and cream.
  • Stir in tomatoes and seasoning.
  • Simmer until thickened.
  • Add spinach and cook until wilted.
  • Add Parmesan and stir until melted.
  • Return shrimp and toss to coat.
  • Garnish with basil and serve.
