Instructions
Heat oven to 350°F (175°C), grease and line a 9x13 pan.
Sauté diced apples with butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice until softened. Cool completely.
Cream butter and sugar, add eggs and vanilla. Alternate flour mixture with milk until combined. Fold in apples.
Mix flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Cut in cold butter until crumbly.
Spread batter in pan, sprinkle crumb topping evenly.
Bake 45–50 minutes until toothpick comes out with moist crumbs. Cool 20 minutes before slicing.
